Face-changing

Independent story pre-production concept art and storyboard completed in 2019 college application. Face-Changing tells a story that takes place in a Szechuan Opera House in Szechuan province around the new millennium: A youth had always admired the traditional art of face-changing and became the apprentice of an excellent master. But he was so obsessed with cellphones and computers that he did not practice enough, until everything was too late, and he got expelled from the house. Being mad and unsatisfied, the youth went on the stage to perform alone, only to fail himself in the end due to the lack of skills.
